Town Bid OPPORTUNITIES
Snow Bids
Bids to remove snow from the streets and Town Hall. These are due before the next meeting. Bidders MUST be at the next meeting so the board may ask questions.
We will be accepting two bids.
One will remove snow from Town streets and alleys when the snow reaches or exceeds 2" (two inches).
The second bid will be for the salting and cleaning of the Town Hall sidewalks. The bidder will supply the salt and be responsible for keeping the sidewalk clean of both ice and snow.

Outdoor Fitness Equipment
fitness equipment
The Town of Kennard is accepting bids for the construction of wooden or composite outdoor fitness equipment to be installed in the park alongside the walking trail. We will be opening sealed bids in early July 31st 2020*. If chosen, we would desire the project be completed before October.
The Town would like the bids to reflect a total cost including materials / labor for each item below individually. We may decide to do multiples of one item or a mix of them. Some of these items will frequently come in contact with human skin so we require proper preparation of the wood in those cases (NO toxic chemicals may be used). We are leaning towards composite or plastic boards for areas that will be laid or sit upon to reduce splinters, help upkeep, and to mitigate chemicals. We will accept bids either / both ways and having just a "wood" bid with proper preparation will be acceptable. The equipment will also stay outside and be exposed to the weather so we will require proper materials, stains, treatments, plastics, or metals to be suitable or protected from the elements if needed.
All interested parties are encouraged to submit their bids in writing by July 31st 2020 to:

If you prefer to email your bid, please send it to townofkennard@gmail.com
Sending your bid through email will waive your ability to keep the bid confidential before the reading.
*The Council reserves the right to waive bid irregularities. The Council further reserves the right to reject all/any bids.
Images below may show sand, gravel, boarders, or other surroundings. We are only looking to replicate the equipment, and have it secured into the ground.
